Applying on this website is always free. We never ask applicants to buy a credit report, pay a verification fee, or upload credit reports or photo IDs.

For certain roles, an employer may — only after a conditional offer of employment — ask a licensed consumer reporting agency to prepare a background report. This is arranged and paid for by the employer, and it happens only with your separate, written authorization.

Your Rights Under the FCRA

• You have the right to know what is in your report
• You have the right to dispute inaccurate information
• You have the right to obtain a free copy of your report
• No report may be obtained without your written authorization
• If adverse action is taken based on a report, you will be notified and given a copy of the report and a summary of your rights before the decision is final
